Crystal Lodge & Suites are recruiting for a full-time, year-round Revenue Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous reservations and revenue experience within a hospitality setting and are looking to make the next step within their career.

The main focus of this role is to maximize overall hotel room revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies. You will be required to create forecasts and conduct on-going competitor price and product analysis to ensure correct rate positioning and product offerings, whilst also working closely with the Front Desk Manager on developing upsell, walk-in and stay over rates.
You will produce, complete and analyze weekly and monthly reports for both internal and external customers providing informative and factual figures in a timely manner. You will also be expected to facilitate, lead and record weekly and monthly sales strategy meetings.
In addition to this, you will manage the Reservations team where it is expected that you will actively encourage and promote development internally to exceed guests expectations when booking with the hotel.

The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel knowledge as a necessity, as well as extensive knowledge of our competitive hotels. Be confident in using and manipulating RDP (or previous experience with other property management systems), all independent booking engine programs and/ or yield management software. Previous experience in a supervisory/ managerial role is also desired to oversee and lead the reservations team.

We are looking for an analytical self-motivator who is focused on delivering and maximizing revenue opportunities for the hotel. You will lead by example, have a strong, positive work ethic and be driven by results. Excellent time management and organizational skills are imperative as this role will require multitasking, potentially in complex situations where you are required to remain calm and professional, at all times. Strong written and oral communication skills, along with great attention to detail and time management skills are essential, with a good understanding of MS Office packages.
