Crystal Lodge & Suites are recruiting for a full-time, year-round Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous reservations and revenue experience within a hospitality setting and looking to make the next step within their career.

The main focus of this role is to work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing by supporting all aspects of the sales and marketing cycle. Primarily you will be responsible for the day to day group sales activities which includes client relations, marketing initiatives, prospecting and sales reporting. You will also work closely with the Sales Coordinator and support them with group processes including contract signing, obtaining feedback and organizing catering, as and when required.

You will be required to develop compelling and tailored content for each advertising campaign, and conduct and lead site tours to promote the hotel to future and return customers.
You will be responsible for the hotel’s social media channels to help promote the hotel, broaden its market and achieve as much engagement as possible.

In addition, you will develop and maintain all marketing collateral and sales proposals, represent the hotel at industry trade shows and negotiate supplier and advertising contracts with support from the Director of Sales & Marketing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing, social media and blogging background, with previous experience working in either a front desk, reservations or sales position within a hospitality setting. Working knowledge of hotel operating systems and software is essential, and a good understanding of MS Office packages, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Analytics is preferred.

We are looking for an energetic, positive team player with great attention to detail, and whose main drive is to provide an outstanding customer service that aims to maximize opportunities for the hotel. You will be organized, with strong time management and multitasking skills, whilst having the ability to remain calm and professional when faced with potentially complex situations. An excellent communicator both written and spoken is essential, as well as being a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic is required.
