The Crystal Lodge & Suites are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone with prior sales and marketing experience within a hotel setting. This role will work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to assist with maximizing revenue and support with all marketing initiatives.

Within this role you will be required to identify opportunities and implement any campaigns, strategies, plans or objectives that will help to achieve the current sales and marketing strategic goal that will continue to drive the hotel forwards.

As part of this role you will perform day-to-day group sales activities that will include client relations, marketing initiatives, prospecting and completing sales reporting. You will also be expected to maintain and update promotional calendars and campaigns through multiple advertising platforms, including social media sites.

Marketing is a strong focus within this role and you will need to plan, create and implement all e-mail marketing deployments that promote the hotel and restaurants, whilst monitoring marketing budgets and negotiating supplier and advertising contracts where required. You will also prepare and present monthly marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales data.

It is essential in this role to develop and maintain current partnerships with group clients and resorts, but also to build the current clientele. Part of this role will include conducting and leading site tours as required, and your attendance at industry trade shows, events and relationship development meetings is required.

The ideal candidate will have strong sales, marketing and customer service experience within a hotel setting. We are looking for a self-starter that can lead by example and motivate the team to provide an outstanding customer service while maximizing revenue opportunities. You must be familiar with hotel operating systems and software, the local Whistler area with a good knowledge or its amenities and social media sites. You will possess strong computer, time management, communication, organizational and leadership skills, and have the ability to remain calm and professional in potentially complex situations.
